A fire broke out in Dobhan, the second largest market of Taplejung

Taplejung, March 3 A fire has broken out in Dobhan, the second largest market of Taplejung. Dipesh Karki, a local informed that the fire started at 9 in the morning in Khamlung of Meringden Municipality-3. According to him, the fire started from the house of Bholanath Poudel. So far, 30 houses, including Dobhan Money Transfer and Global IME Bank, have been completely destroyed by fire.



Some houses are being demolished with the help of excavators to control the fire. Even after informing the fire brigade, the locals have complained that the fire brigade has not been enacted yet. Local Karki informed that there is no possibility of controlling the fire right now.

Eastern Cancer Hospital will be formally operational from Tuesday

 The Eastern Cancer Hospital established with the aim of providing state-of-the-art treatment facility in Birtamod will be formally operational from next Tuesday. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the hospital on the same day. Chief Executive Officer of the hospital Durga Prasai told a press conference today that all preparations have been completed for the inauguration. He informed that famous actress Manisha Koirala, famous actors Madan Krishna Shrestha and Haribansh Acharya will be present at the ceremony. The hospital has been in operation since last year.
